EBBC General Meeting

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - 7:30pm to 9:00pm

You're invited to the monthly EBBC General Meeting.

In February, we will highlight the Bay Trail. You can find out how to help re-open a critical bike commuting section in the existing path, learn more about upcoming Bay Trail projects, and get a photographic tour around the entire trail. EBBC member Stephanie Reed will present her bicycle tour of the completed sections of the whole of the Bay Trail, giving us a virtual ride around this 500 mile gem.

We’ll also discuss many bicycle-related issues including:
- next steps in our campaign to complete the Bay Bridge Pathway,
- plans for events leading up to Bike to Work Day on May 13
- efforts to reopen a closed segment of the Bay Trail
- our urgent appeal to East Bay counties to save millions of dollars allocated to complete the Regional Bicycle Network
- our 2010 campaigns
- Meeting Updates: BART Bicycle Accessibility Task Force meeting concerning the BART Earthquake Safety Program. The Program will have impacts on the Ohlone Greenway during construction, and afterward on the functionality of the pathway
