Open utility hole (cover has broken and fallen into the hole) in the northbound bike lane of Danville Blvd in Alamo about 29 yards south of Stone Valley road. Hole is about 12 inches in diameter. UPDATE 2-10-16: Notified top two levels of engineering in CoCoCo PW Department. They're always very responsive. Subsequently heard back from the Maintenance Division: "A work request has been assigned to the supervisor of the area in regards to the open utility hole." UPDATE 2-17-16: Tim Tucker (CoCoCo PW) personally called and reported they fixed the hazardous grates. Acknowledged the importance of Bike East Bay's reporting them, as there's no way they can see everything under their jurisdiction. "We would have had to be doing a walking inspection to catch it."
