Bike Civics: Advocacy Trainings for Changemakers

Can’t make it this fall? Sign up to get news and updates about future advocacy trainings.

Which trainings interest you?

Bike Civics is a new series of advocacy trainings that will teach you how to become a local changemaker.

Taught by Bike East Bay staff, you’ll learn how your local government works and what actions you can take to improve streets for bicycling in your neighborhood. Take any of the free two-hour classes to boost your knowledge, or sign up for all three this fall. All the trainings are free, plus dinner’s on us!

Working the System - Monday, September 25, 6-8pm

Who’s in charge here and how do you get them to listen? Bike East Bay takes you through how local government works and what you can do to influence the system.

All About Bike Lanes - Monday, October 23, 6-8pm

What are all the different kinds of bike lanes and what’s the best solution for your neighborhood streets? Bike East Bay breaks it down in easy to understand language, no urban planning degree needed.

Make Yourself Heard - Monday, November 27, 6-8pm
