Telegraph Avenue Street Campaign

Sign our petition in support of completing bike lanes on Telegraph Avenue north to the Temescal neighborhood by Bike to Work Day 2017:

Sent every two weeks with info about rides, parties, and local bike advocacy.
Our goal is for Telegraph Avenue to have a safe, comfortable and attractive bikeway for people of all ages to enjoy getting around Oakland, visiting local businesses, commuting to work and school, visiting friends and enjoying all Oakland has to offer.

Phase I of the Telegraph Avenue Complete Streets Plan has started. In the KONO District, painted parking-protected bike lanes are in the ground, added in May 2016. Bike lanes north to the Temescal District are expected to come in 2018 after the KONO District protected bike lanes are shown successful, which we are working on weekly rest assured. Berkeley is updating its bicycle plan in 2016 and we are pushing for it to include protected bike lanes from the Oakland city line up to Derby St.
