East Lake Music Festival

Saturday, May 24, 2014 - 12:00pm to 7:00pm

Bike East Bay is partnering with the Lake Merritt Business Association and Lakeshore Homes Association at the East Lake Music Festival on Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the amphitheater around the south end of Lake Merritt. Bike East Bay will be out at Lake Merritt talking up protected bikeways for 14th St, Park Blvd and E.18th St and providing bike racks for attendees. Volunteers needed to help talk bikes. Oakland ramps up feasibility analysis this Fall of removing travel lanes and building comfortable bikeways on these streets. So, now is the time to build more momentum to encourage thousands more Park Blvd residents and customers to businesses on 14th St and E. 18th St to walk and bike to shop.
