FREE Bike Safety Class and Mechanics Workshop!
Clase en español (Instruction provided in Spanish and English).
This session begins with a 1-hour classroom course (10-11am) teaching the basics of safe cycling, riding in traffic, equipment, crash avoidance, and rights and responsibilities. For adults and teens, no bike required.
Then, stick around from 11am-1pm for an interactive presentation on the basics of bike mechanics and maintenance, including instruction on how to fix a flat tire, how to adjust your bikes brakes and gears, and how to keep your bike clean and running smooth. Bring your bike with you to try some of the lessons yourself, or just watch and learn.
All participants will receive a free bike mini-tool for attending!
