Patterson Pass Road & Tesla Road Safety Study - Community Mtg #1

The Alameda County Public Works Agency invites local residents, property and business owners, and other interested parties to an information meeting regarding the planned safety studies along PATTERSON PASS ROAD and TESLA ROAD. 

This meeting will introduce the County’s Patterson Pass Road and Tesla Road safety studies, describe the intent and process of the studies, and solicit any comments about specific concerns you may have on both of these roadways.

The County recognizes that conducting an open and transparent process with opportunities for community input is essential to the studies’ success. There will be additional meetings this year, as the studies progress. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in these safety studies by attending these meetings and by providing feedback.

SAFETY STUDY OVERVIEW Alameda County Public Works Agency is undertaking studies to evaluate safety needs on Patterson Pass Road and Tesla Road. The studies will collect information about these roadways including traffic data, accident history, roadway features, and mapping the surrounding area with aerial surveys.

The studies are anticipated to be completed by early 2014. The information collected will be presented in a public meeting and will be included in a study report. Additional meetings will be held to discuss the information, safety issues, potential recommendations, and to gather community input. Final reports will be prepared at the end of the studies.
