Women Bike Workshop: Choosing a Bike/Basic Mechanics - Dublin

Saturday, May 21, 2016 - 9:00am to 11:00am Dublin City Hall, Regional Meeting Room, 100 Civic Plaza

Interested in biking more but need some help navigating all of the offerings provided by bike shops and other retailers? At this women-focused workshop, we will discuss bike size and fit, as well as the type of bike, components, and accessories you should look for based on the type of bike trips you will be making. Our certified instructor also goes over some tips for how to avoid buying a stolen bike, as well as what to look for when buying a used bike. She will help you simplify the choices, make a good investment, and find a bike that you will enjoy and therefore ride more often.

Mechanic Binky Brown will also be at this class to help you check out your bike, review parts of your bike and their importance, and cover basic bike maintenance to keep you rolling confidently.

This class is for women, trans and femme identified individuals in partnership with Bike East Bay’s Women Bike program.
