Women Bike Book Club

Sunday, May 15, 2016 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm Bike East Bay office

Meet on the second Sunday of each month at Bike East Bay’s office in Jack London Square to discuss women- and bicycling-focused books and films. Films will be shown at the discussion, and we will try to have copies of the books available to borrow. Email Rachel at rachel@BikeEastBay.org to make arrangements to check one out.

The next book is Streetfight: Handbook for an Urban Revolution by Janette Sadik-Khan, an empowering road map for rethinking, reinvigorating, and redesigning our cities, from a pioneer in the movement for safer, more livable streets.

As New York City’s transportation commissioner, Janette Sadik-Khan managed the seemingly impossible and transformed the streets of one of the world’s greatest, toughest cities into dynamic spaces safe for pedestrians and people on bikes.
