Join West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project (WOEIP) and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission to learn about the West Oakland Link, a plan to safely connect the Bay Skyway/Bay Bridge Trail with West Oakland and the Port by creating accessible bike and walking paths.
Last year, we held a series of community information and design sessions to ensure resident voices were reflected in the trail’s design. At this session, Project planners will share the latest designs, which are about a third of the way complete.
Hear directly from the project designers, ask questions, and learn how you can help shape the West Oakland Link.
About the Link:
The West Oakland Link is a 1.1-mile-long elevated pedestrian and bicycle pathway coming to West Oakland aimed at safely linking West Oakland to its shoreline, the Bay Trail, and San Francisco via the Bay Bridge East Span pathway.
