Berkeley Transportation Commission reviews the draft Berkeley Bike Plan, which has been received over 200 comments from the public. Bike East Bay wrote an extensive letter, and here is our blog on what needs to be improved.

Revised draft of Berkeley Bicycle Plan to be posted here.

Lots of good ideas came up to improve the plan and generally consensus that we want more protected bike lanes, and safer, fully signalized crossings of busy streets.

We also want better traffic calming on neighborhood bicycle boulevards, a greater priority to repave streets that are bikeways, and a higher priority to create safe routes to school.
