Mark your calendars for the evening of May 14 at 7:00 pm to learn about and provide feedback on what the future could hold for San Pablo Ave. (SPA). The SPA Multimodal Corridor Study is developing scenarios for improving transit, pedestrian and bicycle access and safety along San Pablo Ave. between downtown Oakland and Hilltop. The corridor is anticipated to change a lot over the next few years. The study seeks to identify a coordinated network of transportation facilities along the length of the streetto serve SPA’s existing and future users.
Whether you work or live or travel through West County, we hope you can join us and discuss potential ideas for the future and give us your feedback. There is also an online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SPACorridor where you can view proposed options and give feedback. On behalf of all West County residents, the City of ElCerrito’s Environmental Quality Committee is hosting the forum which will be held at the El Cerrito City Hall (10890 San Pablo Ave. cross street Manila Ave., El Cerrito).
This study is funded by WCCTAC, the Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC) and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. All local jurisdictions and transit agencies along the street are participating in the study.
