Park Blvd Discussion at Glenview Neighborhood Mtg

Tuesday, August 18, 2015 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm Edna Brewer Middle School

From the Glenview Neighbordhood Association:

This coming Tuesday, Aug 18, 7-8:30pm the Glenview Neighborhood Association and Edna Brewer will be co-hosting an update on the dangerous traffic situation on Park Blvd and surrounding streets. The meeting is open to all communities, residents of the neighborhood & schools alike.

This is an important meeting for at least 2 reasons:

  • The City has not made any meaningful recent progress.  They’re either stalling or we’re no longer their priority.
  • The meeting is being co-hosted with the GNA (Glenview Neighborhood Association).  Some community members might not be familiar with the challenges we face crossing Park Blvd., Beaumont and other streets (especially those who like the fast driving).  It is important to educate them about our experiences and frustrations with slow progress.

Neighborhood education & support is vital and forms our base from which we can make change.

To get things moving again, it is IMPORTANT to have a GOOD turnout to impress upon Public Officials the dangers we face and have directly experienced.

Sincerely and Safety to All,
Hugh Morrison
