The City of Fremont has a couple of updates on upcoming in-person outreach opportunities for the Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Phase 1.
On August 12, the ATP team will be tabling at the Niles Farmers Market from 9 am – 1 pm and leading an in-person walking tour event through Niles from 10 am – 11 am. The Neighborhood Walk of Niles will start at 10 am at the Niles Town Plaza near I St and Niles Blvd, and is a key opportunity to learn more about transportation in the Niles District and for staff to hear from the community about their transportation needs and ideas for Niles.
Feel free to join these events (don’t forget to invite your neighbor, local friends, and family members!) and chat with the ATP team about all things walking and bicycling in the City, or simply enjoy a stroll or bike ride with City staff!
