Join the Center for Creative Land Recycling for a relaxed Sunday afternoon ride in Alameda! You’ll bike across the island and stop at three unique redevelopment sites for a tour and presentation from each developer.
Meet at the Greer Mortuary parking lot at 11am. From there the group will go to the Alameda Marina for a tour from Bay West Development and talk about their massive mixed-use plan which includes 760 housing units and 150,000 square feet of maritime/commercial space. After Alameda Marina you will head across town to Site A where the developers will show us around the property and field questions about their mixed-use redevelopment plans. The group will finish by going up to the old U.S. Coast Guard housing commonly known as the North Housing site. Carmel Partners will give a tour and presentation of their redevelopment plans. The ride will end by 1:30pm at Singleton Ave and Main Street.
Space is limited to 40 attendees. Spots will go fast - sign up today!
