CCLR Bike Tour: Creative Land Use in Oakland and Emeryville

Saturday, August 27, 2016 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm MacArthur BART Station Plaza

Join Bike East Bay and the Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR) for a bike tour of Oakland and Emeryville land recycling projects. We will visit former brownfields and abandoned properties that have been cleaned up and redeveloped for housing, business, community gardening, public art, and of course, beer brewing.

The ride will be 6 miles long, starting at Macarthur BART and finishing at the new Temescal Brewing beer garden on Telegraph Avenue. We will make stops in Emeryville and Oakland to learn about the exciting land use development projects CCLR has been working on while also checking out some of the many new bikeways in the neighborhood.
