Pledge to ride on May 18 for Bike to Work Day! You’ll get a map of energizer stations, a digital goody bag, and routes to ride to celebrate the big day! When you pledge to ride, you show our cities that bikes count.

You’ll get your limited edition Bike to Work/Wherever Day tote bag at energizer stations this year, and all the goodies inside the #BTWD bag are going digital! Bike to Work Day Old Oakland Happy Hour

Thursday, May 18, 4:00pm-7:00pm
900-920 Washington Street

Save the date and RSVP now: The Old Oakland Happy Hour in partnership with Walk Oakland Bike Oakland returns this year! Join us for drinks and lots of fun as we celebrate the Bay’s biggest day for biking.

 

We’ll gather on the pedestrian-only blocks of Washington Street between 8th and 10th Streets. The free event will feature resources, giveaways, and information sharing from:
·   Oakland Department of Transportation
·   Oakland’s Bicyclist and Pedestrian Advisory Commission
·   Bay Area Air Quality Management District
·   The Crucible Bike Shop
·   Link21 Program
·   AC Transit
·   Bike East Bay
·   Walk Oakland Bike Oakland
Rock the Bike will be there with a pedal-powered DJ-set and Mayor Sheng Thao will join the evening celebration to share her remarks.
