Due to concerns related to the spread of COVID-19, Bike to Work Day will be postponed to Thursday, September 24th.
Bike to Work Day, originally scheduled for May 14, is our favorite holiday of the year - one that brings out thousands of riders to celebrate across the Bay Area. It is a day when long-time commuters and first-time riders alike take some time to revel in our community together. This year we will still celebrate - just a few months later than anticipated.
Not all celebrations in May are cancelled though: we will still be celebrating Virtual Bike Month in May with online activities, interactive workshops, and virtual high-fives. Pledge to celebrate bike month with us! You’ll hear first about our calendar of activities and special giveaways. Even though we’re riding apart, we look forward to celebrating with you!
Bike Ambassadors are the friendly faces of Bike East Bay — 4,000 members strong and counting! At this interactive training, you will get up to date with Bike East Bay’s latest advocacy campaigns and learn how to sign up new members to support our work. It’s also a great opportunity to meet and network with your fellow Bike East Bay members and advocates.
