Help make Alameda a better place to walk and bike! The City is updating its Pedestrian and Bicycle Plans as one Active Transportation Plan. The year-long effort is launching with an Open House on Thursday, November 7, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Alameda Free Library, 1550 Oak Street. Come tell the city what walking and biking are like today, and how they can make it safer and more comfortable for people of all ages and abilities to walk and bike. There will be light refreshments and fun activities for kids. Follow the project, find more opportunities for input and sign up for updates at www.ActiveAlameda.org.
