1st Annual Alameda Bike for the Parks Ride

Saturday, October 15, 2016 - 8:00am Washington Park, Alameda

A 22-mile fun bike ride along the perimeter of Alameda and Bay Farm, or an 8-mile bike ride to and from Model Airfield Park.  Both rides end at Washington Park for a open-to-the-public after-party featuring food trucks, kid’s entertainment, and the Beatles cover-band The Sun Kings.

All proceeds go to: Alameda Friends of the Parks Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to supporting a healthy and active Alameda!

The ride showcases shoreline views of the San Francisco Bay area. The pace is leisurely, and designed to appeal to riders of all ages and fitness levels. You can do it!

Bike for the Parks features police-escorted traffic crossings, four rest stops loaded with snacks and beverages, and a support vehicle to help riders in need.  100% of proceeds benefit Friends of the Parks (a non-profit) and all participants receive a free t-shirt and food truck ticket.
