Blessing of the Bikes and Family Ride

To celebrate National Bike Month, Bike East Bay will host its annual Blessing of the Bikes event on Saturday, May 13th. Bring your bike to Mosswood Park in Oakland at 11am to be blessed by interfaith clergy and spiritual teachers. Bay Area cyclists of all faith traditions and spiritual paths are invited – agnostics and atheists are welcome. Bike bells and cameras are encouraged. 

Followed by a celebratory, flat and easy-paced family bike ride to the Berkeley Farmer’s Market. There will be a second bicycle blessing at Berkeley Civic Center Farmers Market after ride. Join us for this fun and meaningful event!
