Spring Ride: Mt. Diablo from Pleasant Hill BART

Registration is closed for this event
Mt. Diablo from Pleasant Hill BART

Bike East Bay staff and board will be leading a series of progressively challenging rides from February to June. We’ll check out longer and hillier routes around the East Bay in a social and supportive setting. This series prepares Bike East Bay’s team for the California Climate Ride, and the rides are open to all. Whether you’re challenging yourself to ride more or making sure you’re fit for your upcoming organized rides or events, we hope you’ll join us this spring.

This ride will be 40 miles with 4,000 feet of climbing starting and ending at Pleasant Hill BART. With the option of not doing the summit climb, this ride can be done as 31 miles with 2,400 feet of climbing.

Bring your own working bike and helmet, any water and snacks you may need on the ride, sunscreen, money for BART and lunch (or bring your lunch with you), and good spirits!

We roll out promptly at 9:00am, so be there by 8:45 to sign in and meet everyone.

Rain cancels or postpones. Register to let us know you're coming and be sure you get any last-minute updates.
