The Family that Rides together thrives together! Join Bike East Bay's certified instructors for a day of fun games, safety drills, and skills building.
This workshop is for kids between K-6th grade in partnership with West Contra Costa Unified School District. The Rodeo will be offered in 30-45 minute sessions between 10am-1pm. The event includes instruction on:
- fitting a helmet
- performing a bike safety check
- communicating with other road users
- riding in a straight line and avoiding obstacles
- as well as navigating safely through intersections, all while playing fun games!
Youth bikes and helmets provided, or bring your own. All minors must be accompanied by an adult to participate. Course takes about 1/2 an hour to complete, participants can drop in and out any time. Every participant will receive a free set of blinky lights!
