This approximately 26 mile ride will start at the Fremont BART station, meeting up at the south side plaza (map here: https://goo.gl/maps/rGya7oRUUrsyWuy76).
We'll start along the Alameda Creek Trail, cut through Union City on surface streets with bike lanes, then proceed onto the Bay Trail in Hayward. Then we'll head north along the Bay Trail about 10 miles, then another 2 miles on-street to Drake's Brewing in San Leandro. Participants can stop with us there for food and drinks, or continue 2 more miles on Williams Street to the San Leandro BART station to end their ride.
***Note that the section of Bay Trail from about mile 13.4 to mile 21.6 is an unpaved, dirt and gravel trail. This segment is flat, but is not recommended for bikes with very skinny tires (700×25 size or smaller). ***
Route can be found here and is subject to minor alterations:

We meet at 10:00AM to sign-in and introduce ourselves and depart at 10:15AM.
