It’s a revolutionary Rich City!

The We Bike Book Club, a collaboration between Bike East Bay and the Oakland Public Library, is proud to present the feature, "Greenway," by documentary filmmaker Jed Terrence Lee. This film tells enriching tale of how a once abandoned and dangerous railroad line is now a beautiful stretch of walking and biking path decorated on each side with gardens, murals, and parks thanks to dedicated community efforts.

Interviews with sustainability leaders and familiar faces such as Doria Robinson from Urban Tilth and Najari Smith from Rich City Rides tell the story about how this transformation was 100% fought for and by the community.
