Want to try out an electric-assist bike, and explore the beautiful bike path along the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge? Join us for any of our summer ebike-rides, where our friends at RAD Power Bikes will supply you with a loaner ebike and helmet, and our certified instructors will lead the group over the bridge to San Rafael and back.
Follow the link at the end of the registration proces (or in your confirmation email), to fill out the ebike reservation form so we can make sure to have one there that fits you. If you have your own ebike and helmet you are also welcome to participate, but you will still need to fill out the reservation form and indicate you are bringing your own.
This ride has a very limited number or registrations, so sign up only if you know you can make it, and let us know if you need to cancel your registration before the ride date.
This event is made possible with funding from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission.

This medium-paced, moderate difficulty ride will take us west from the Richmond BART station along the Richmond Greenway path, then on protected bike lanes to beautiful Point Richmond. From there we will continue up and over the scenic Richmond-San Rafael bike/walk path, then follow the Bay Trail north.
We will make a water and bathroom stop in San Rafael at Pickleweed Park at mile 11. The official MTC ride ends at this point, but Bike East Bay instructors will lead the group back along the same route from San Rafael to end at Richmond BART.
All adults are welcome to participate, and must wear a helmet. Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact robert@BikeEastBay.org to confirm before registering any participants under the age of 15, to ensure we will be able to provide a bike that fits them.
