Adult Learn-to-Ride Class - Berkeley

This event is currently full, but anyone not already registered can visit to be added to a wait list, or to find out about other upcoming sessions. If you are already registered then we will hold your spot unless you contact us with a cancellation.

This workshop is made possible with funding from the Alameda County Transportation Commission.

This is a class for adults or teens who have either not yet learned how to ride a bike, or learned a long time ago but want a refresher on the basics of balancing, pedaling and steering. Our trained instructors are friendly, patient, and will help you get off to a great start in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

A working bicycle and helmet are required in order to participate in this class. A limited number of bikes and helmets are available to rent for $30, and are sanitized before and after each class. We prefer that attendees bring their own equipment, so please only request a rental if you do not have access to a bike. Any rentals require a reservation, and will be provided at the class location for you. Follow the link at the end of this registration to reserve a rental bike.

This workshop has a very low student-to-teacher ratio to maintain social distancing and coronavirus safety, so the class size is limited. If the class is full, you can click here to be added to the wait list or be notified about future sessions as they are added.
