Ride the Iron Horse Trail

Alta Planning + Design is conducting a bicycle ride of the Iron Horse Trail to help inform our work on the Iron Horse Trail Active Transportation Corridor Study.  Meet at 10 AM at Dublin/Pleasanton BART or join at a stop along the way.

Come talk about:

  • How you use the trail today
  • How you would like to use the trail in the future
  • Which crossings need improvement
  • How to improve access to the trail

Planned stops include:

  • Dublin/Pleasanton BART -  10 am
  • Sports Basement, San Ramon - 10:30 am
  • Prospect Avenue, Danville - 11:15 am
  • Peet's Coffee, Stone Valley Road, Alamo - 11:30 am
  • Walnut Creek Library, Lincoln Avenue -  1 pm (note that we'll be stopping for lunch before this stop)
  • Pleasant Hill BART Station - 1:20 pm
  • REI, Diamond Boulevard, Concord - 1:45 pm

 

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The Iron Horse Trail Active Corridor Study is creating a future vision and implementation plan for the Iron Horse Trail in Contra Costa County to help make biking, walking and other active trips more feasible in this important regional corridor. For more information, visit IHTactive.com.
