This is a class for adults or teens who have either not yet learned how to ride a bike, or learned a long time ago but want a refresher on the basics of balancing, pedaling and steering. Our trained instructors are friendly, patient, and will help you get off to a great start in a safe, non-judgmental environment. The class is located very convenient to transit, just a few blocks from the Downtown Berkeley BART station.
A working bicycle and helmet are required in order to participate in this class. We will have bike and helmet rentals available on site for $20, thanks to our partners at Bay Area Bikes, for people who do not own or can not borrow a bike and helmet themselves. Please make sure to follow the link at the end of the registration process if you will need to reserve a rental bike.
This workshop has a very low student-to-teacher ratio so the class size is very limited. As such, please only sign up if you are sure you can make it, and if your plans change please contact us with a cancellation notice so we can offer your spot to another attendee.
