Women Bike Book Club

Registration is closed for this event
Everyone is invited to discuss biking, feminism, and the intersection of the two.

In partnership with Bike East Bay, the Oakland Public Library is co-hosting the Women Bike Book Club in 2017! Bike East Bay's Women Bike program is in its second year of bringing women and gender nonconforming folks together in social settings to share experiences and resources with each other.

Everyone is invited to discuss biking, feminism, and the intersection of the two, even if you run out of time to read the book. Join us on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00pm. You're welcome to bring your bike inside.

For November, let's take a look at kids' books that feature bikes and bike riders! Drool over gorgeous illustrations, get goosebumps from the feel-good stories, and add ideas to your holiday gift-giving list.

Upcoming meetings of the Women Bike Book Club: December 14, and January 11 at the Golden Gate Branch (5606 San Pablo Ave).

November 9th, 2017 6:00 PM   through   7:30 PM
5606 San Pablo Ave
