This indoor, 1-hour class is made possible via a partnership with the Oakland Library and Ford GoBike. For adults and teens, no bike required.

The first half of class will cover topics to help you build confidence on two wheels and have more fun on every bike trip, including:

  • Outfitting your bike
  • Fitting a helmet
  • Knowing your rights
  • Making turns at tricky intersections, and more.

Then, for the second half of class we will discuss the new bike share program in Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville, answering questions about how it works, what it's for, as well as some insider tips you'll want to use. We will also provide information about the Bike Share For All affordable membership option.

If you can't make it to this class you can still find information about bike share via our website here, or learn about the affordable membership option here.
