August 20 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Across U.S. cities, efforts to improve bicyclist and pedestrian safety often conflict with fire and emergency response priorities. He will also discuss strategies cities have used to resolve conflicts, such as designing protected bike lanes that accommodate emergency vehicles and expanding fire departments’ missions to include street safety.
